Small Batch!
A couple years ago, my brother bought me a copy of the book Food in Jars. It is an absolutely beautiful book and I thoroughly enjoyed paging through it. The idea of being able to do a small canning project rather than an exhausting, day long ordeal really appealed to me so I started looking around for other small batch recipes. Clearly, you have to be cautious to make sure that the recipe you use still conforms to safety standards but it's so freeing to be able to experiment and use things that you have before they expire. I had some strawberries that were about to turn and I decided to make a quick jam with them. A glance at Food in Jars gave me an idea and bam! Strawberry Margarita Jam! DELICIOUS!
